About Us
This is the story of Seàn Kilkenny and his beloved Forgotten Horses and the fire within his lionheart that ignited the flame that now burns incessantly as the sacred Fire of Peace on the land.
It has become a safe port of call for many bringing comfort, companionship and awareness to Mental Health and Wellbeing.
From these embers, Sean's vision was ignited to build Èrius Greatest Equine, Education, Training, Heart & Hands Healing Centre.

These last few months we’ve made incredible progress with our Meitheal Madness Months. We’ve had hundreds of kind strong and inspired people come to the land and help us build new toilets, work on the garden , stone circle, well, tool shed, rose garden, bird house, cabin and most importantly the sacred fire of peace. We’re still very much in the building stage and need lots of help with materials and skilled laborers. Please click on ‘Materials & Jobs’ from the drop down menu for more info.

Want to help?
To anyone feeling called to support The Forgotten Horses, there are many ways you
can help out. We have a huge list of many projects that need materials and trades people, machinery and professionals with their expertise can all help us with their equipment, materials and trades life skills
Some bring fodder, a bale of hay and some carrots and apples for treats. Some drop off the odd bag of feed. There is also an Honesty box at the gate where many people often leave a spare €10, sometimes more, sometimes less to support the vision and journey, thus it gives them a place to donate outside their names, often attached to trail.
Every donation touches our hearts and we measure everything from the heart, knowing the circumstances of many people who support us already have over weighing financial, physical and sometimes mental burdens of their own.
